Just realized yesterday that all along I have been entering the wrong info for steel cut oats lol for pc steel cut oats I was entering the serving as 1/2 cup at 150 cals and not 1/4 cup which is the right info. someone had entered the info wrong into the database.
I need to get a battery for my scale and start measuring. So far I have just been using cups and spoons to measure and just trying not to eat all my cals incase I logged wrong... my theory was wrong I guess lol
No question here just wanted to share my realization lol

Not sure how weighing would increase the accuracy if you choose an incorrect entry, but glad you got it straightened out.

Ah, lessons learned. I one time under-recorded the calorie content of my rice by a significant amount for an entire week or two. The reason: there was a dried grain of rice stuck to the rubber leg of the scale, making it uneven and throwing the weight off. Now, I give the scale a good inspection before I put anything on it.
