35 wife w 35 lbs to go.

Need friends, 35 yr old wife. Looking to lose 35-40 lbs. I'm doing my second half marathon (run/walk) in 2 months. I also use a Fitbit HR tracker. I'm not the best about my diary. I like beer and cheese way too much lol. Add me if you can relate.

:-( hi there I'm 34 mother of 2 and I am 5 stones heavier than I should be.
I can relate I love my cheese and takeaways way too much.
And feeding the kids is always a downfall.
Started the MFP last night again. Today is my first day back on the system.
I'm hoping it will work slowly this time.
I hate exercise but I still walk everywhere come rain or shine.

Lol yep. I can definitely relate to the beer/cheese/wine

Plugging into my diary helps me a lot though because beer/cheese/wine then becomes a treat and oh how I savor it when I can fit it in. =)

34, mom of a 12-year old. Would love some support/to be a support!

Lost just about 61 lbs since last April and 32 lbs to go. It is starting to get tougher to move the weight and I'm trying to keep going at a good pace!

I'm finding the balance between enough exercise to burn calories and get stronger vs. how hungry I get from exercising tough to maintain right now. I'm set to lose 1.5 lbs a week and that's giving me 1200 calories a day to work with, but I'm eating some of my exercise calories. Now, I'm tracking those via steps on my Fitbit. However, that's not all the exercise I do. For example, yesterday I did about 4500 steps at the gym. But that wasn't walking - that was HIIT bootcamp class, with lots of weights and planks and things in between, and the steps were ladder drills and suicides and jumping jacks. So I'm hoping this strategy will work out - I do need to eat back some of those calories or I'll go nuts.

I try to undereat a little bit during the week, since I know there'll usually be a couple of challenging meals on the weekends. (Tonight is pizza night - and I know I'll go over and while I'll try to not have it be horrible I do want to enjoy family night and the treat) and tomorrow we're meeting friends for dinner out at a place with little room for being good on the menu!
