Feeling pretty discouraged right now

I know everyone is going to probably come in and say it could be many things effecting this but just hear me out. So I've been using happy scale for the past few weeks recording my weight daily and I've noticed a pretty well downward trend for the most part. I started out at 138.4 and last week I was at 136.2 at my lowest I bounced between 135 also. I've been doing great started a new workout regime in the last few weeks and weigh every thing I eat. Saturday's I eat a maintenance and keep track of what I'm eating also. Well this week when weighing mom-fri it's been up all week! From 139 on Monday steadily going down to 137.4 this morning. I should be seeing some results yet I'm seeing numbers going up?! I just don't understand what is going wrong. This week I was even left with 100-400 calories at the end of each day just to see if this would help at all. Now next week about mon or tues is that TOM so this could just all be the reason why and I'm hoping that's the case otherwise I'm not really sure what else to do?

Weight loss isn't linear. Considering water weight swings, all of the weights you listed are basically the same weight.

Have patience. Give it 6-8 weeks to see a longer trend. If you still don't see weight loss, reevaluate your logging accuracy.

You don't have much weight to lose so it won't come off quickly.

If you are sure your logging is accurate, just keep going. A week is nothing. You have to look at the bigger picture. Take a close look at your logging. Be realistic about the fact that weight loss is just going to be not a steady downhill slope.
Look here at my last three months.

I was pretty frustrated for a while. Not only was I not losing but I had a pretty significant gain. And all it was, was water from to much salt in my diet. The interesting thing is that my body has changed a lot from the beginning of the period to the current numbers. I am still 7 pounds above my lowest low yet I can see in the mirror and by how my clothes fit that I am smaller now than I was then. It's just weird.

    Haha same here. So weird.

But yeah TOM will cause some water retention.

There as that too. I had not had TOM since last August and it came back in January. So that could definitely have been a contributor. But I was also consistently 2-3000mg over goal for sodium so I think that was a major factor.

I've honestly decided to stick to weighing once a week since it really seems to discourage me when I weigh daily and things like this happen. I won't give up but I wanna have some piece of mind. Thanks for all the advice guys and I will definitely take into account the "bigger" picture as you all have said.

Also I've just recently figured out there's a button on the bottom of my food scale that can convert to grams instead of oz lol (i thought mine was just cheap and didnt have that option). So I've heard sometimes its not really too accurate with oz bc it could be a bit off even if you are using a converting scale. So this could've been part of the problem for the last couple months. I'm hoping I'll start to see more results over the next month or so :)

Also, I've tried on some pants I wore this past summer (I was at 130 when I bought them) and they still fit just like they did then! Kind of confusing but I'll take it!
