One tiny bowl of cereal??

Set goal 1200cals daily. Just had 20g plain Allbran and 2fl ounces lowfat milk. Got told by Fitness pal that I'd hit the "daily protein goal". What? How? Is this right? I haven't eaten anything else today yet.

I don't eat that cereal so am unfamiliar with the macros in it but that doesn't seem right to me at all

You probably have used an entry that is incorrect. Compare the nutritional value of your MFP entry to the label on the box. I'd bet it doesn't match. Beware, the database is 90% wrong entries (my estimation, not an actual statistic). You have to be diligent in picking the right ones.

I checked the database and the highest protein entry I found for all bran was 14 grams. Either you picked the wrong entry, entered the wrong grams or your daily protein goal is wayyy to low.

We don't know which items you chose, or if you logged them as you meant to, what your protein goal is, and what/how the message was framed. Could it be that you are on target with the protein percentage - which has nothing to do with the amount of protein you are aiming for? Wild guesses ensue. Open your food diary ;)

That. Heck I found a 600 calorie clove of garlic the other day. About ready to write some code to just get the nutrient information I use and call it done.

I consider MFP protein goal to be a minimum since mine is set so low.
