Can high metabolism gain weight?

I eat between 2500-3000 calories a days but still not gaining weight and is there any good food that are dense in calories

You don't have a high metabolism. 2500-3000 isn't a lot. You may have a high tdee. Eat more fat.0

+1 to what the others have said. And here's a list of calorie dense food. Though I never really understood the quinoa.

I'm eating 3500-4000 calories and gain about .5-1lb a week I think you should up the calories0

I agree. I maintain at 3000 calories (which means I cut at 2500 at a 1 lb per week pace), and I am 33, 5'11 male at 175 lbs, desk job and exercise 5-6 hours a week.
So OP, depending your activity level and stats, you may have to eat over 3000 calories and join the majority of us.0 -

That is not a lot of food for an 18 yr old male ... especially if active.0

i was gaining about a pound per week on 3300 a week and I am a 36 year old male....
you dont have a high metabolism, you just need to eat more...0
