Thinking of starting to do TDEE - 20%. But that would mean i'll be eating around 1900 calories which seems like a lot to eat and still lose weight.
Curious how much weight you guys have been losing per week on this method?

I lost 20lbs on a diet plan made by a doctor and then I've lost about 25lbs of my weight loss using TDEE -20% and the rest on TDEE -10%. :drinker:

    edit: got a number wrong!!

I have been doing it for a while now and it seems to work. I lose an average of maybe a lb or a little less a week. Usually. I'm okay with a slow loss but I also have to take into account that I lose weight slower due to my hypothyroidism. Everyone is different so you may lose more. All I can say is give it and go and see how it goes. Good luck!

I've been doing TDEE -25% for about 3 months and have lost the 47 lbs my ticker says (eating over 1900 a day so far) which averages to a bit over 3lb a week (I had and still have a LOT to lose, over 100lbs)

I'm almost 50 and I've been losing weight eating roughly my TDEE -25% or -20%. I'm not hungry, I have energy, I feel great mentally. I've lost the 30 pounds you see on my ticker. I eat around 2,000 to 2,100 calories.

ETA: I've farted around the last month or two, so lack of recent results is my fault, not TDEE's fault LOL

At what point did you decide you need to adjust to -10% from -20%? I'm wanting to lose 5-10 more lbs and have been stalling. Pretty sure I have not been eating enough because my net was low, but I am changing that now! I was just wondering at what point do you make the switch? Curious what I should do..
    TIA
