Gaining & Maintaining

So as you know I've been trying to gain weight. The scale says I'm gaining (slowly), however my clothes don't fit how I want it to yet. I understand it takes time and because spring is quickly approaching I want to be able to fit into my clothes and look good, not bony! I noticed my metabolism is working harder to burn the extra calories I am in-taking. I don't want to slow my metabolism at all. I don't want my body to get use to high calorie foods. I eat a variety of foods so I doubt that can happen but recently because of my goal to gain I have been eating alot of high calorie foods. So i believe my body is going into overdrive to digest all the foods. M daily life requires alot of walking sometimes jogging. I take the steps everywhere I go. I rarely exercise and if I do t's not weekly. Should I star lifting weight to keep the weight? How do I maintain the gain??

So you're looking to not look "bony", yet you have a high tdee and eating in a surplus and gain, yet you don't lift? Sounds like the perfect combo for skinny fat results. Get on credible lifting program, eat in a slight surplus0
