    Virus no way haha, I workout when I have respiratory type infections I found light cardio actually gets me better faster

    I think most runners have been familiar with the "above the neck" rule for years........whatever you do, don't go to the gym when you're sick. Spreading your contagion is not the sharing thing to do! :D

    +1 Gyms are already germ incubators without openly sick people coming in.

    I'm a cyclist and I've always followed the above the neck rule. A little head cold or case of the sniffles is one thing...a full blown respiratory infection is another and all exercise is going to do is prolong the illness.

    And I agree with the above...for *kitten* sake, stay out of the gym.
