Struggling really hard with staying motivated. Kind of feel alone in this journey. Can anyone else relate

It's normal to feel alone; after all, it's your own journey. You're lucky if a loved one or two is there to support you but the truth is most people are on their own. Embrace it. Take it one day at a time and every morning remind yourself that you're living, breathing human being with unlimited potential. Love the process.

I logged on here and added a bunch of people who seem to talk/post a lot and it really helps. Some people post motavitional posts, others vent, some ask for help and some just like to post random questions. I like mix because it keeps me focused on MFP and my goals.

You can do it. Every morning, every situation you feel lost, tell yourself that you are doing this for you. Not anyone else. You are doing it because you want to and it will make you happy. I have to tell myself when I am exercising that it is okay and I can do it. I have found when I am right with myself (even when alone), I can accomplish what I need to do.

It is a process. I struggled many years with PTSD, binge eating, emotional eating, and PCOS. I have those things still, but I am in control and want to do what makes me happy. I look at everything I do as a step toward what I want in my life. I want to be healthier. I want to live a life I want. I want to be smaller. I want to live longer. And each step makes me feel more positive about myself and my future.

You can do that too! It is hard, but you can do it! One day, you will realize that you didn't have to struggle to be happy with what you are doing.
