Hi everyone. Just thought I'd share :-) I'm a bit addicted to working out what works and analysing why.......
I have had 2 Garmin watches and the latest one (vivoactive) was giving me a lot lower calorie reading than my old one. That's ok, I thought at least I can rely on it better and not wonder if I'm overcompensating when eating back calories. There was always a nagging thought at the back of my head that made me wonder if I'd REALLY used up those calories..... Just looked back on my 30 days weight loss in comparison to my netcalories though and was delighted to see the week that I had the best weight loss was the week that I walked/ran (60% walk up hills, 40% ran flat and downhills) about 6.5 miles 5 out of 7 days with 3 mile walks on the 2 days off. I know this sounds simple, but great to see the maths actually work!!
Happy Sunday everyone, out to tackle those hills with my dogs in a bit........
