Hello everyone ! So I'm fairly new on MFP but I've been using it for about 2 weeks. I am always under my goal calorie
By like 400-500. And I get how this is not good. Because in workout everyday. Burn 500-700 cals a day. Usually 500 a day. And on maybe two days of the week ill do 700.
I feel better and everything but I am not showing weight loss. Only maybe 2.5 lbs. depends. I watch all my calories. If I have alcohol. I watch so I don't go over.
I do all cardio. I used to do a ton of HIIT and some weights but I am just getting muscular.
I'm 5'3 3/4 and weigh roughly 138lbs. I used to be 120. I need that back. My shorts don't fit and it's hard to
Find jeans bc I have a booty. Lol.
Am I on the wrong track ? I'm in no hurry. But I thought I'd see more results. Compared to the last time I lost weight
Any advice please ?

So I quoted somethings in there that you should read.. You been here 2 weeks, you lost 2.5lbs and your afraid to get muscular from some weights and let me guess.. your probably eating 1200 calories or less with you being under your goal.
Your not going to get big and muscular from lifting a few weights and doing HIIT while eating in a deficit.. so there goes that.. I would suggest you look up one of the calculators on here for TDEE, find that for yourself and then take a 15% cut from that and eat that Everyday to the calorie..
Guesses at your height/weight.. BMR is probably 1200-1300.. daily movement probably 200 calories (walking around etc) then your 500-700 a day calorie burn (assuming these are not machine estimates.. 500 calories being an hour of intense workout) so just a guess..
Oh and be patient. Your not going to lose 18 lbs overnight.0 -
What he said ^^^
2.5lbs in 2 weeks is VERY GOOD. Also, unless you devote your life to steroids and being at the gym for ten hours a day seven days a week, you will not get bulky. The women who you see that are muscular have trained for their entire lives to compete in those bodybuilding pageants. Probably took a lot of hormones, too.
Calm your +!+5 and relax and revel in your health, take it slow and realize that a little bit of progress in the right direction is better than a lot of backsliding in the wrong one.0 -
They are machine estimates .. I know they are not that accurate. But that's all I have to go by.
I'll def be patient haha. Just want to donut the right way.0 -

I don't think there's a wrong way to donut.
But seriously, those are extremely good results for two weeks if I'm correctly guessing by your profile pic that you don't have that much to lose. The closer you are to goal, the slower it will come off.0 -
Do it ** hahah
Okay. I'm really happy for your responses. I work hard. Intensely at the gym and feel great doing it. Just need some motivation from other people too.
Thanks again !0
