Best Workouts? Ketogenic

Hello,

I lost 10 pounds implementing ketogenic nutrition so far. I added a strength training workout two weeks ago, and gained back 2 pounds. (It may be muscle) My goal is to lose 25-30 pounds. What is the best workout to achieve my goal?

Maybe a tiny bit of muscle if you're brand new to lifting, but it's mostly water. Your muscles need it to repair.

    Calorie deficit=weight loss, exercise=fitness.

What is your goal? Just fat loss?

The best workouts are the ones you'll stick with. For some it's a lot of cardio, for others it strength training/weight lifting, for some it's a mix of the 2. It's very individual when it comes to working out. There is no 1 size fits all.

You're not gaining muscle in 2 weeks eating at a deficit.

your gain on the scale is fluid retention for muscle repair, not muscle. you're not putting on 2 Lbs of muscle in 2 weeks...at best, a male who is training well can put on about 10 Lb max per year of actual muscle...and that requires a solid training protocol and adherence to a diet designed around building mass, which keto is not.

do whatever exercise you enjoy doing and will consistently participate in...there's no magical exercise here...your weight loss is going to be largely attributable to your diet.

It's water weight from muscle repair

Best workouts? Progressive resistance ...throw in a couple of 20-30 min cardio sessions
