Hello my dearest and esteemed MFP community,
Recently I sustained a right foot injury which has been ongoing for a few weeks.
I'm frustrated and the reason is I had just started revving up my training (running and cycling), feeling good, confident, getting more fit and then GOD lays the smack down on me and says, " Here, enjoy this foot injury"
But this post is not to complain. This post is to shed light on the famous expression "There is a silver lining around a grey cloud" (sorry that's not completely verbatim).
What I mean is yes, I'm seriously injured BUT now I focus on weights and swimming which has almost no impact on my right foot injury. I have a goal to average 20, 000m of swimming next week starting Tuesday!!
Always look for positive solutions!
So if you're feeling frustrated, depressed, unmotivated or low, just remember to take a moment to find the solution to the obstacle in your place. Just breathe forget the drama and say okay let's take a look at the options, what can I work with. Be patient. Do not expect overnight changes. If you are having trouble with weight loss, just remember this simple thing
It's a marathon not a sprint.
Cheers to you!
