I just made this and I find it really yummy! It's not exactly low-calorie, but it's lower than other snacks, and all made at home, so I'm happy.

1/4 cup popcorn kernels
4 squares (or one row) of dark chocolate - I used 71% Camino (fair trade)
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp chili powder
a few shakes of salt

I have an air-popper so I didn't need to use oil, though I did add a 1/4 tsp of canola/sunflower oil to the chocolate when I microwaved it, though that might not be necessary. I also think it would be just as good with maybe 3/4 the chocolate I used. But the way I made it it's about 240 calories, and pretty yummy. I added more cayenne pepper after, just sprinkled on like the salt.

In particular, for me, this is replacing an old favourite of curry popcorn, which was something like 3 tbsp of butter with 2 tsp of honey on a 1/2cup of popcorn kernels with curry powder and cayenne pepper. It's really good but something like 600+ calories. Not really practical, unless I have a cheat meal or skip a meal.
