Hi
Can you all help me, I usually walk really fast for 20-30 minutes at my local park for excercise MFP says I burned 165 calories but the other day I decided to use my fit bit and after excercise it said I only burned 105 calories, so which do I go by?? I'm thinking the fit bit is probably more accurate??

Yes, I find MFP estimates to be very high. Go by your Fitbit.0

Most online calculators, including MFP, use published METs values to calculate an estimate of Calories burned for cardiovascular activities. Those METs values include your BMR (basal metabolic rate), so you either need to subtract out the BMR Calories for those minutes, or reduce those minutes by a percentage and only log 50 to 75% of the time. The Fitbit calculations account for your BMR and already subtract out those Calories to provide its estimate. The Fitbit estimate would be more realistic.0
