I am looking to build up my chest and back. Anybody have some exercises that are out of the norm that will help me with that?

You can google a bunch of exercises. One thing to consider is that because of our lifestyles, sitting hunched over a computer in many cases, you may want to emphasize the back more that chest. Make sure you are doing at least 1-1 ratio back to chest. Bump closer to 2-1 if you are on a computer/sitting in an office for 8-10 hours a day.

    Good luck.

Do you go to a gym or work out at home?

I always find for chest, a great exercise is incline Flyes (I do these last, but really force the muscle to stretch)

For back, i find Pendlay Rows are great for developing a good back.

    Barbell bench press
    Barbell incline bench press
    Dumbbell bench press
    Dumbbell incline bench press
    Cable flyes
    Low pulley cable flyes
    Decline bench press
Dips (chest variety- leaning slightly forward, feet behind you)

    Back:
    Deadlift
    Pull-ups
    Bent-over rows
    Lat pulls
    T-bar rows
    Bent over dumbbell rows
    One arm Lat pulls
    Seated cable rows
