Are you operating an aquaponic system? What percentage of your daily food comes from your system?

I do not have a system. I am putting together a plan to build one, but me and my plans have a way of waiting, waiting, and waiting. The idea of the system is that you have a tank of water, from ones to tens to hundreds of gallons, a pump, some plumbing, and some aquatic critters which you feed in order to produce fish poop. The system also has a plant growing bed filled with media and equipped with a bell siphon. You grow stuff in the grow bed, everything from salad greens to tomatoes and cucumbers, and really anything else that produces fruit or leaves above ground, and in the larger systems you can raise a school of fish. The fish poop fertilizes the grow bed. The pump fills the grow bed and the bell siphon drains it for a proper mixture of water and air to the roots. Indoors, you can grow stuff all year. It's an interesting plan for my home and back yard.
