What kinds of vitamins and supplements do yall take or recommend? I am trying to lose weight. I turn 50 in July and want to get healthier before I do.

I try to follow Dr. Joel Fuhrman's gbombs diet of eating foods in combination to catalyze their nutrients. Bitter greens-collards, kale, mustard, watercress, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries and seeds. I avoid grains and processed oils entirely because their calories are worthless or rancid. I eat a bit of dairy and protein and lots of eggs. I take a probiotic daily and try to eat sauerkraut, kimchi, keifer, and lots of raw vegs and potato starch to feed my healthy gut bacteria.

While I believe that you can eat a healthy diet without grains, I disagree that they are "worthless calories".

I like the work of Dr. Fuhrman but even he says whole grains can be part of a healthy diet.
