Hi guys !! Does anybody have the same weighing and logging in MFP
IE a lot of items are in cups !! 1/2 cups etc some are even company foods IE Sodexo etc I find it difficult say when you have an item even say chicken and MFP doesn't do it in Grams I'm not sure that any of us can measure accurately ?? Thoughts would be good thanks in advance

There's usually an item based on weight if you hunt for it or drop down the units selector. If not I would enter one so you know it's ok.0

Not everyone who uses MFP uses scales, so when they enter an item into the database they'll generally go with what the nutrition info says (1/2 cup, 9 crackers, 1 piece, etc.). For something like chicken, usually if you enter USDA in your search you'll find an accurate entry that allows you to log by either 1 or 100 grams.0

And be sure to check the quantity drop-down on entries that otherwise look useful. Sometimes the default quantity will be cups, or slices or "medium sized" or something not-so-useful, but you'll find grams elsewhere in the quantity drop-down for that item.0

Thanks everybody for your input0
