I just started drinking these Lean 1 vanilla shakes I was getting them at smoothie king and have now started making them at home for meal replacements. Usually drink one every morning and they are supposed to help with weight loss and staying with in my calorie goal. Has anyone tried these shakes if so what was your results? How did you mix your shakes? Any advice is appreciated.
I mix mine with 2 scoops lean 1, 1 scoop Kemps frozen low fat yogurt, little 2% milk, and ice.

The only way any food - drink would help you see results is if it helped you stay within your calorie goal.
There's no special ingredients that make one lose weight.0 -
Love Lean1. The Chocolate PB is my favorite. Chocolate is good too, but I tend to end up putting some PB2 powder in it to make it more like the Choco PB. I'll definitely stick to buying just choco pb. I just got 8 oz of water and dumped 2 scoops in, shook it up in my shaker bottle and that was it. I liked that it tasted like a shake with its consistency and all. I'm currently trying optimum nutrition gold standard right now for less calories and more protein, and it's nowhere near as thick, which was off putting for me.
As for has it helped me in my goals? In a sense. It keeps me full for a good amount of time, and therefore helps me stay well within my deficit since I'm not always hungry. I also never get enough protein, so it helps in that aspect too, so I'm not losing lean muscle as I exercise. I have lost weight and inches, and I'm really pleased thus far. I can't say it's due to the Lean1 specifically, as I also began to be more conscious of my food choices and caloric intake, and I also began exercising.
Basically, it's all about the deficit. Lean1 is 220 calories by itself with water, so make sure that that along with everything else you put in it keeps you within whatever caloric goal you've set for yourself

I haven't tried the lean with just adding water to it. I have added up the calories for it the way I make it though and still get under my daily limit. I love that it keeps me full also and I feel better after drinking the shake then I do after eating a regular meal.0
