Be sure to do chin stretches after your workout. That helps. Also, you might try a compression chin strap.

Keep running. Rest when you get them but keep going back. I wish I had a better answer, but they eventually stopped for me. I haven't seen much in the way of satisfactory answers for real solutions.

I used to get them, icing them helped. But what really helped was a change in runners.

Getting the right shoes, building some leg and core strength have helped a lot.

Op, you can try to edit your title or file a report and ask a mod to edit it for you.

OK, shin splints. This happened to me when I began walking a mile on my treadmill each day 5 weeks ago. It happened to me years before when I tried to start jogging. It was not bone damage, not for me and not for you. It's muscle soreness. It will fade away in 3 or 4 days.

I meant - Putting ice packs on my shins when they're painful, but what solved my issue was really well fitted running shoes.

No listen.... chin splints are no joking matter.

They are real people. Most of the time chin splints develop from yawning while walking.
