Fish Oil supplements

Is there anyone else out there taking fish oil supplements? I can't stand the taste and the burping with that fish oil taste. I am not a big fish person but I am trying to eat fish 1-2 times per week. Any suggestions for a product that does not have that fish taste? Is it even worth the bother? I am currently taking a multi vitamin and also vitamin D for severe deficiency.

Head to your local GNC store or vitamin store...they have liquid fish oil that tastes like starbursts!! I bought one from MaxMuscle called Essential Omega.0

I take flax seed oil instead. Even the purified fish oil made me gag. Want good fish recipes?
People think I'm weird but...bake haddock in the oven until it is firm. I add lemon juice, pepper, and garlic powder. Then I eat it with ketchup. Just like fried fish. Doesn't everything taste better with ketchup??
Pan sear salmon in a tsp or two of olive oil (about 3 - 5 minutes per side). Steam some fresh spinach, with lemon if you like, put the salmon on top and drizzle balsamic crème on top (no dairy in it - it is reduced balsamic vinegar). You can serve it with basmati rice or couscous too.0 -
I take the Nature Made 1400mg capsules, and I've never one single time had a fishy burp or even tasted them. You only need to take one per day (they're bigger), and I keep them in the freezer (which supposedly helps).0

are you taking the gel capsules? because i dont burp with those. that aside, I just started taking my fish oil in a different way and OH MY GOSH IT TASTES AMAZING. it tastes exactly like keylime pie with whipped cream on top. they have different flavors but i literally look forward to my fish oil now and I have to control myself to not have too much.

I take mine right before I go to bed. I haven't had a problem since.0

Just take the tablet form instead of drinking the oil. It might cost a little more, but most concentrated oils have to be used within a certain period otherwise they may start to go off.0

Take the pills at night before you go to bed. No more noticing the burps. One of my nutrition teachers gave me that pro tip.0

I have heard that putting them in the freezer helps as well. ]0
