One year ago today I started my "get healthy" journey. My goal was to lose 50 lb., gain strength and tone up, and gain lots of energy and just feel better. It was harder than I anticipated and there were times I just wanted to quit but I kept at it. It took 9 months to get the 50 pounds off and I have been in maintenance and strength and tone mode for the last 3 months which will continue indefinitely. I can't begin to explain how much better I feel and am so glad I finally got made up my mind to start.
If you haven't yet started, do it today! Don't wait! You won't be sorry!
If you feel like quitting, don't give in! You won't be sorry!
You can do it!!![t88jmid745lu.jpg](https://us.v-cdn.net/5021879/uploads/editor/qn/t88jmid745lu.jpg)

Great! Would love to hear what you did to attain this!0

Thanks, everyone! I started out eating 1200 calories a day (eventually upped it to 1400 because 1200 just wasn't enough). I strength train twice a week with weights but not heavy, run twice a week (although I walked -no running- for the first 9 months), and I do a HIIT Tabata (cardio & strength combined) style workout once a week.0
