Drink LOTS of water. Some veggies, I find, are more starchy than others and can cause a little bit of discomfort after eating. I have experienced this and I drink more water and have a litre of water beside my bed during the night in case I feel discomfort. Hope this helps! Try this first before opting for any medically conventional methods! You will know within a day or two.0

Thanks everyon! I did end up going to the doctor and being diagnosed with GERD. I will take Omeprosal for a month and hopefully be able to wean off it and be able to manage by avoiding the foods that bother me. I found out that even more family members (brother and uncle) have GERD so apparently there is some family history. I hope that once I loose a bit more weight the GERD becomes easier to manage.0
