Is there a way i can use foods that I have entered into my foods in recipes? I'm sick of having to do all the leg work of verifying every item in a recipe list to make sure its not bunk some dummy entered in wrong...

you should be able to log anything u eat and mfp will store it in ur food lists, wether it be as part of a recipe or an item on its own thats up to u if u want to put it in either or both then just look it up in ur list when u want to log it into ur daily diary . good luck0

Use the Old Recipe Calculator, which is available only on the Web version on the right-hand side of the Recipe page. It uses an older interface and search engine which actually searches your My Foods list. The new Recipe Importer/Builder uses a different search engine and a useless matching algorithm that truly is a worthless piece of software junk.0
