How to add friends

How do you add friends you meet on the community discussion boards? It only gives you the option to message them but not add as friend

    If you click their name, it should take you to their profile. There you can add them

    i have two friends that told me to download this app and i have no idea how to find them. hopefully I'll get the hang of this soon lol
