Not getting enough calories

I eat very a clean diet but I struggle so much on getting enough calories in a day.. My protein intake is very high and I try to eat as many complex healthy carbs as I can and try to keep my sugars low by eating low sugar fruits like berries and such! I log my food and sit around 800-900 calories a day but my stomach cannot take anymore food! Do you have any suggestions to help? If it helps I'm a vegetarian and don't eat any red meat including fish. I do consume yogurt but that is my only dairy product
Also: should I worry about fats from almonds and avocados? They are high in fats but I am worried to eat too much of them in a day

Have you tried healthy fats? High calories for small servings of food. Natural peanut butter, almonds, etc. Plus, they're essential for a balanced diet.0

Why are you scared of eating fats? You do know that fats don't make you fat right ? Also carbs don't make you fat either. A calorie surplus does, not fat or carbs. If you are still believing these old dieting myths , I'd suggest starting from the beginning and reading the stickied threads in the beginning of the forum.
As far as bringing up your calories when you don't feel like having another meal, I like to eat spoonfuls of peanut butter. If you can manage 5 spoons throughout the day , you could add on an extra 500 cals about.
Your really not doing yourself any favors by undereating so I think its a good idea to bring your calories up . you will end up losing more muscle mass and that could result in a doughy appearance, soft look and loose saggy skin . preserving as much muscle mass as possible is very important.0 -
I used to have a higher fat intake and it caused me to gain a lot of weight, so I took out peanut butter from my diet and that actually helped me a lot! I eat almonds avocados and cook with coconut oil and even olive, but I'd say those are my primary fat sources0

My guess is you weren't aware of the serving size of peanut butter. Don't be afraid of fat. It is the macronutrient with the most calories per gram, but if you are logging accurately and using a food scale, you will understand how to fit an appropriate serving of higher fat foods into your goal. We need dietary fat. Trust me, you will most likely begin to not feel very well with an extremely low fat diet.0 -
That's why your cals are too low. You have reduced your carbs/sugar, but that means fat increases. This is not a problem or hindrance to fat loss on your body! Eat nuts, avos etc those oils are very very good for you.0

Fats dont make you fat. You just dont know the serving size of the foods your were eating.0

High fat is not a problem unless you are combining it with high carbs. Keep carbs below 100 grams/day solves this problem. Set macros to 20/20/60.
