I'm trying to change up my food and what I'm eating as I'm getting bored with it, but with being a picky eater, I just can't find a way to switch things up without being 400 over on my daily sodium.. I follow the default settings the app has which is 2400 sodium I believe, of course if I'm over a few grams on fat etc I don't sweat it, but I'm all nervous with sodium, anyone have any advice on how closely to watch sodium?

Unfortunately I think the only way to avoid excess sodium is to limit your packaged or takeout foods. Everything packaged or canned is usually absolutely LOADED with sodium.

So you can look for things that are low sodium or you can eat fresher foods that you cook at home. I try to stay under the recommended 2,400 grams of sodium even though I don't have a medical condition to do so. I just don't like the bloat I feel when I go over.

Do you have high blood pressure? If not there's no need to panic. Americans in general eat too much sodium. If you open your diary/tell us what you're eating, we can probably give you some advice to cut sodium. The MFP recommendation matches what doctors say: eat around 2300 mg per day. We do need salt, jut not all.the.salt...
