What are your cutting macros

Hey! Wow I didn't realize this community existed. I've always been relatively fit, especially with my sport. But my goal now is to look shredded when I compete haha. Just curious as to what everyone uses as their cutting macros :)

    it depends on day to day energy needs. If its the weekend and im riding, surfing, hiking, etc i will increase carbs to about 50% or more for the day for the additional energy needs. During the week when i sit at my desk and my TDEE is lower than weekends i increase protein to about 45%. This is just personal preference. For shredding just keep protein at a good level and stay in a calorie deficit till you get to the desired leanness.

    Michael Matthews talks about setting macros for cutting, maintaining and bulking. It's in his book, but I'm sure on his site also, www.muscleforlife.com

    Everyone is different. Depends on stats and activity. I also change my numbers every 5 pound change or if my activity changes.
