This is my first week and I have lost around 2 pounds....I have been exercising 5 days and still drinking my wine, which i will not give up, but have gone over my 1400 plus exercise points....do you ever feel guilty about this or am I overthinking it? I don't go over it like crazy, but maybe by 100-200 calories...be my voice of reason! Thank you in advance!

If it were a daily occurrence of going over, I would re-think some of my eating habits, because it sounds like you still have enough of a deficit to lose weight, but it will take longer to get to your goal. Which is not a bad thing.
You might be over thinking it. I found the first month was a lot of trial and error to find what would work best.0 -

First, no, you shouldn't feel guilty about going over your calorie allotment.
Second, your calorie goal set by MFP has a deficit built into it, depending how much you selected to lose/ week determines your deficit. 1 lb/week gives you a calorie deficit of 500, 2 lb/week would be a 1000 calorie deficit. So it is possible to be over your 1400 net by even a couple hundred calories and still lose weight.
Third, since this is your first week, a lot of people do experience a big woosh of water weight loss when they start restricting. It is normal to see big loss in the first week or two and then things settle down to a more predictable level.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend reading the Most Helpful Posts in the Getting Started forum. They have lots of good info about how to be successful using this site. This one is my favorite:

Good luck! Oh and for what it's worth, I lost 30 lbs and am now maintaining and never gave up my wine or anything else I enjoy. No guilt either.
