Wondering if anybody could help. Recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis I am taking medication that is supposed to help but I wanted to improve my diet and up my intake of calcium and vitamin D. I am finding it difficult to work out how to monitor this using MFP does anybody know what I need to do or have any advice please? TIA

Tough to do if user entries are incomplete. For tracking, look for USDA and green leaf entries. Check that calcium and vitamin D entries are complete.
I take a liquid calcium with vitamin D added twice a day. My dietitian would prefer I spread it over three times a day. Your body can only absorb so much at a sitting.
Don't take iron supplements with calcium. They will interfere with each other.
Vitamin D isn't in as many food products so it might be easier to make sure you take those daily. Like fortified milk. And get your daily dose of sunshine.0
