Is it normal to get am intense hungry sensation in your mouth? How do you handle it?

I'm not sure entirely what you mean by this... But maybe your mouth is dry? Drink a big glass of water, I have found a lot of the time I think I'm hungry but nope. Just thirsty.0

One does not feel hunger in ones mouth. It is either thirst or cravings.0

I think you are talking about salivating in anticipation of eating something. This is normal and it doesn't necessarily indicate true hunger. If it's just a craving, ignore it and do something to distract yourself.0

Yes, it's the "head hunger", a craving, not for nutrition but for taste, stimulation, comfort, enjoyment, challenge.
