Well I've had a big break, started suffering with anxiety attacks last in my last yr of my degree.

anyway gym stopped and diet went crap.

I need to lose 19 lb in 20 weeks, but I am struggling to get back into it...can anyone give me some encouragement and tips on how to get back to it.

Also I am unable to exercise at the mo due to knee problems. so please let me know this loss is achievable with just calorie in calorie out

    Take away the time limit.

Make small changes each week. Cut out soda/sugary drinks one week, then cut out sweets the next, etc.

Stick to your calorie goal EVERY DAY. Log any/all exercise but only eat back 1/2 of the calories MFP gives you.

    Best of luck! :flowerforyou:

Set a start date and have a plan, tools, a revamped pantry, and a prize that us 20 lbs away.

Write it all down- your goals, your why, your plan. It ignites motivation to make a realistic plan and see it in black and white. Then start immediately.

First get used to the idea that it will probably take more than 20 weeks to lose the 19 pounds. BUT you can lose at least a good portion of that weight in that time and any weight los is better than no weight loss and certainly much better than gaining even more right?

Now set up MFP with your stats and a reasonable weight loss goal get a food scale, learn to use it and start logging.

Its really very very simple. Don't overthink. Just do. :)
