Old Wives Tale?

Does Apple Cider Vinegar really help with weight loss i.e "burns belly fat" My grandmother always told me her mother drank a tablespoon a day and was "skinny as a rail" genetics? I know a lot of people who put it in their coffee or dilute it with water and drink it. Is this a wives tale, fad diet or has some truth behind it? I know ACV can be used homeopathically for a lot of things especially with infections. I personally use it to dilute salad dressings and wash my hair with sometimes (yes this can be used in replacement of expensive clarifying shampoos and makes the hair SUPER soft) Anyways Myth busted or confirmed on fat burning? I'm always looking to broaden my knowledge for the business I work for; customers have ALOT of weight loss/nutrition questions.

    Yep myth.

I love cleaning with vinegar and on the hair like you mentioned. It is great to clean my dog's ears too. It's tasty in food.

Calorie deficit gets rid of fat.

If it did, I'm pretty sure the obesity epidemic would have been eradicated by now.

Acv for weight loss is a myth. If it was that easy ,then why would we all be on here counting calories ? There's no quick fix, there's no easy way out. One must be at a calorie deficit if they'd like to lose weight. Acv is not needed nor will it work for weight loss
