I have a build up of fat in my liver. Need to lose weight. Is there anyone else with the same problem.

I had it when I started losing 4 years ago and now I don't, at least my GP didn't say I still had it.
  • Unfortunately I have just done some lipid tests. All alarming . A very high GGT.

Well I really need to lose 1/10% of my actual weight and make some urgent lifestyle and diet changes
    - exercise
    - Remove high saturated fats from my diet ASAP
    - Goes without saying not even a glass of alcohol
    - no smoking
    - reintroduce fish in my diet ( I was a meat eater)

I just got diagnosed the other day myself. It's so hard trying to cut back the sugar and carbs. Everything that is bad is what I eat (pop, chips, bread, potatoes, fried foods, fast food). But have to change all that for my health. It's very hard. You can add me if you'd like.

0.1%? That's next to nothing. Should be easily done.
Is that what your doctor is recommending for every day??
    Confused.

    0.1% (1/10%) of 200 lb = 0.2 lb (two tenths of a pound)
That's less than my normal daily fluctuation.
