Reducing Calories? When do you do it?

I'm super stoked with this app and all the cool stuff it has, but I'm not sure what to do about reducing calories. I've had success in my first week of calorie counting/measuring portions. When do I reduce my caloric intake? Do I wait until I hit a plateau? Or do I ever? Or after every 1, 5 or 10 pounds? Thanks!

    The app should prompt you to recalculate after 10 pounds lost. Theoretically, you could update it yourself more often, but I think that's more stress than it's worth, in my experience.
