Not new here, but haven't been around in a while

Hey everyone!

It's been quite a while since my last visit.

I've put on a lot of weight due to not watching my diet, lack of exercise, and increase in alcohol consumption.

I let myself get to 167.8lbs (almost my highest weights ever).
Over the last month, I've managed to go to 153.6 (almost 15lbs) just by cutting out soda and replacing with water, cutting fast food, and increasing activity (slightly).

I've gotten a gym membership (Planet Fitness), please spare me the sarcastic comments, I've never been to a gym before, so I figured it's a good stepping stone.

I've just really got to get back on track and in the right mindset.

MFP keeps me accountable and on track, so... Here I am again!

Looking forward to meeting my goals.

Also: I'd like to enter a competition (not sure which) before I hit 40. I turn 34 next month. So I'm sure it's completely doable!
