Is it okay to eat below your calories?

I'm eating healthy stuff and I get full. Today I've only eaten 580 calories not including dinner. I'm supposed to eat around 1700 to lose 2 lbs a week. Is it okay to eat below my calories? How much is too low?

your logging is inconsistent and incorrect. all food needs to be WEIGHED in grams (not 12 slices of pepperoni)
580 is far too low. do not eat fewer than 1000.
however, i guarantee you are eating more than you think you are.

If it's not a regular thing, it's fine.
You an also try looking at zigzagging your calories and aim for a weekly goal. Eat less some days, eat more the others.0 -

My logging is inconsistent because today is my first day back on this app so it's my first log day. Please don't look at previous diaries0
