Why can't there be a sticky of frequently asked questions?

You will never stop the questions asking how many calories should I eat, is 1200 enough? What is tdee and so on and so on. Or why are people saying i should eat more than 1200, But why can't there be a sticky post best describing those topics. I have seen a few really good ones that are often linked to new topics in response to new users feeling lost. A lot of boards have these so atleast a handful of people each day will find and read them before posting their question. Rant over

Most new mfp-ers go to the main page for the message boards, and would never notice stickies anyway.

There is no harm in asking questions that have beena asked before. We were all new once.

I am not saying the person whose questions asked are annoying, or that they shouldn't ask if they need to, just that sometimes it takes weeks, even months before a user hears there are options to figure in. Or that 1200 calories is probably too low. Of course the sticky will not be noticed by all, but if 1 out of every 10 new users sees it would it still be worth it in the end. Not having something because it wouldn't work for all users is hardly a reason not to do it. If there is no major disadvantage to having it than why not?
