Hi

Can anyone give me ideas on what to take to the beach to eat without sabotaging my diet. It's going to be a long day and I'm not quite sure a salad will make it half of the day.

Thanks (:

Watermelon! It's low cal, but with such a high water content it will help keep you hydrated and full.

Also, assuming keeping things cool isn't an issue, things like hard boiled eggs, cheese, the aforementioned sammiches, and veggies and dip are things I'd bring.

Nuts, fruits like bananas and apples that don't require prep, and granola bars are all options that don't need to be in a cooler.
