    Happy Friday Pepper's,
    Well this is a good Friday for me. :drinker: I am at the same weight of 197, I would not believe this but clothes have been fitting better and the reason is in the last two months I lost 2.5 inches in my waist and 4.5 inches in my hips, everything else is the same but wow did not expect that much. Very very happy with that. :bigsmile:

    Hope everyone did as well, try measuring made my day :laugh:

    Hey everyone....well I am down 3.8 this week to 187.2! yay, I am thrilled! Not sure I want to own that 1st goal of 189.9. I also met 2 other goals,....lose 5% body wt and lose 10 lbs, at 188.4....Set these goals May 28. Again, logging and being honest with myself is working....along with some exercise and water. Lately, I am feeling AND thinking "I can do this, it is not that difficult." So, if any of you are struggling or frustrated, just keep with it, and find what works for you....seek that motivation that [keeps] you motivated!

    Cindy ~ sharing in your happiness today! you must feel so great! I will be measuring on Monday, so I hope I have good results as well! all that walking is toning you up girl!

    had my well woman exam earlier today. She thinks my Simvistatin ( generic Crestor ) for chol is causing muscle knots in my shoulders. I see my cardiologist the end of July. I have to have blood work in a couple of weeks...lipids, thyroid, general panel and checking for inflammation (arthritis). She wants me to have an xray b/c of some hip pain I have been having. Yrs ago I went to chiro for the pain, and xrays showed my hips are not level, difference in leg length, which I think is common. Also have to have a mamm. So, July will be busy with appts. My bp was 110/68. yay!

    going out to mow now. dh leaving for Canada later. will be quiet for a week.....anyone want to go out for lunch? :bigsmile:

    Wow Kelly 3.8 pounds that is so great. I just felt my pants were fitting better but never thought to measure until this week. Feel very positive I will see that scale go down. I just had all my blood work done(almost all the things you are having done I just did). Still need the mamm done. The simvistatin was not working and my doctor put me on the crestor and it is working very well. Still concerned about my sugar level but see's I am doing this and gave me until Sept. to loose more weight. He gave me a reasonable 2 pounds a month ( I want a pound a week, but we shall see).

    Hey all, wow what a week full of busy junk. Didn't log but am still watching what i am eating. at 195 this week. Had 2 hardish practices this week so i am dehyderated from taht I think and still feeling a little exhausted. Hope that everyone is doing good.
    Kelly- Have fun with the hubby gone!
    sindy- Congrats on teh inches that you lost!
    Itty-Congrats on the non-smoking! Wow that time FLEW!
    Got the backyard all pretty and washed down the side of the house and everything yesterday to put up the pool for the monster kids! now it is yucky outside so they are mad that they cant go in it:( LOL but maybe tomorrow, think that I am gonna walk them to the park today and then take them to the library:) Have a great weekend team! I will kick my butt into gear and start logging and checking in! I know that I do much better then.

    Hey all... what a week... last week of school, a car show, today we were at the lake and did cub scout camp check in.

    Starting at 8:30am, I'll be working Cub Scout Day Camp -- a week of 10 boys - age 10. Let's see how normal I am at the end of the week. Being outside all day, in low 90 temp & high humidity, I will be drinking a lot of water.

    I didn't weigh in ... I think I 'm up.

    Here's what I'm eating right now.... frozen blueberries. yummy. Last weekend, I picked 12lbs of blueberries at the local farm. I froze most of them so we can enjoy blueberries in the fall & winter. Frozen blueberries are making a tasty snack.

    Congrats to all who were successful in their weight loss and inches.

    And Kelly -- yeah, I would love to go out to lunch.... By mid week I will be look for any chance to escape these boys.

    Happy Monday mornin' team! Here's to a good week for all of us! Yesterday I went to a wedding anniversary w/MIL and then out for supper w/my ds's and parents. Not a clean day by any means, but did ok w/portions. Ready to get back to it today and looking forward to a hard workout!

    Ok, so here's my stats for the last month.....
    wt ~ down 11.4 lbs ( 198.4 to 187 )
    b/p ~ from 132/90 to 104/70
    resting pulse ~ from 80 to 56
    Did I get it Right ? ( in the 'clean' dept ? ) 22 yes, 6 no, and (3) of those 6 days were only 1 bad meal...so progress! I still ate my favorites in moderation...and had 5 really bad pms days. I have flagged my calendar for these days and hope to battle back this month!
    20 days of exercise....I started C25K May 29, and will be starting wk 5 today! I am so amazed that I can jog 5 minutes straight! Also, I am upping my free wts, today as well. On my 30 min walk/jogs I have gone from 1.88 miles to 2.38 miles.

    13 1/4 inches total....GONE!!!!!!!:bigsmile: So, I am very happy with myself and all the improvements in just 31 days! This has motivated me and lifted my spirits! My goals for this month are to push myself more in working out. I still believe exercising is the biggest key in reshaping my body, toning me and even more important, getting my heart healthier. I have always been a slacker when it comes to *any* form of movement...lack of self esteem, and now, I look forward to getting in a good workout and sweatin'! So, pepper's I just want you to know, that it can be done. Take one day at a time and b.e.l.i.e.v.e. in yourself!! Do it for no one but YOU! Whatever you put into it, is what you will get back! Be honest with yourself and realize that the choices you make will get you on your way to the person you want to be. It is a lifelong journey....accept that....and begin to live it.

    WEll I am logging in and back on track today!
    Plan to take the kids bowling I think (If it is still free LOL)
    Then free skate from 3:30-5:30 I gotta work on the skills fo my test on the 6th! nervous !
    But then again the 6th is my birthday! I am a huge carrot cake lover so every year my hubby makes m the best cake! but this year I have asked for carrot cupcakes:) sot his shall be fun!
    Took the kids to a lighthouse yesterday and to visit my dream house which has been empty forever bt I am in love with it, while showing them t I fell down the stairs on my rump but landed on my wrist and it is hurting today! I know it isnt broken but it is hurt.
    Today's goal:
    ~25 crunchesx3 ways
    ~bowling?
    ~skating: 25 laps in under 5 mins, and othr skills...
    ~Get my water in because I havn't been
    ~Fruits& Veggies all day!

    Good Afternoon Pepper's,
    That is so great Kelly. Next time we are not loosing we have to remember to take measurements.

    I did excellent this week end, I burned over 1200 doing 3 hours of yard work, could not eat all my calories had 400 left over, did another hour of yard work on saturday and had 100 calories left over. So exercise and did very well with my eating. Drank tons of water too.

    The Pepper's are rocking. :drinker:

    veggies today: cucumber, salad and will have a third, fruits: banana, apple and will have watermelon tonight.

    veggies ~ romaine lettuce, cuke, pepper, broccoli
    exercise ~ 30 minute C25K w5d1 and will add 5 more, and weighted ball workout.

    Vita ~ Hey there lady! Good to hear from you! Sounds like your gonna have a fun day! Hope your wrist is ok soon. Have a great workout with your skills prep! You can do it! I LOVE lighthouses!! I have been to 3 on the East coast....so cool!

    Cindy ~ sounds like you blasted the calories away this weekend! how great for you! I have a problem eating all my calories too sometimes....when I don't eat enuf early in the day then I am really screwed. Don't really want to eat 700-900 for supper! ugh! I need to plan my day better! I average 1300-1500, but am upping that this week cuz I have been a hungrier the last few days.

    Had a great day up until mom and I stopped and picked up dinner at boston market last night. I had no idea the pot pie was 800 calories. I ended up going over by 500 calories. :sad: I have been doing so good, I hope this does not effect friday's weight. I will be very up set.

    today eating very light and hope to walk a little more than the 15 mins I did this morning. (still not adding little walks for exercise) dont need the extra calories.

    well have to check back later will log my veggies and fruit later.

    Did not get all my fruits and veggies in have to get to store. Did some exercise yesterday and tummy exercises. Need to do better on water as well.
    For the most part still on track with calories staying under.

    happy hump day....
    didn't get the hula hoop in yesterday....MIL called at the last minute and I met her and dh cousins at a pub in town. All I had was water w/lemon, since I had just eaten at home. Will be working in the yard again since it has been so nice. Low humidity and dew points....ahhhh, windows open! My kind of weather! Have a good one gang! :flowerforyou:

    Well doing good and getting some exercise today. Helping with cramps from aunt flow who arrived yesterday afternoon, 2 days before weigh in. :grumble:

    Fruit: banana, apple and ?
    Veggies, corn on cob, garden salad
    Exercise walked 34 mins :drinker:

    One more day of camp left. The first two days had weather in mid 90s. Yesterday and today, mid 80s.
    Overall, camp isn't too bad --unless you count the snake the boys found today. See pic on my fb.

    OMG BARB!! I saw that snake earlier! I would have passed out! I am sooooooo afraid of snakes! :noway: I don't even like worms! Yikes! Is it a poisonous snake? I have never seen one like that! Did you just leave it alone then...or is it a project now? :happy: Bet all them little scouts have had a great b/c of their awesome leader!! Hope to hear more soon!

    Good luck at the scale tomorrow. Lose, gain or stay the same, we're all in this!
