Having a hard time sticking to a progam?

I don't want to sound crazy but I do intermittent fasting and at the end of the night, I'm still able to eat snacks or those really sweet chocolate bars before bed. Yet I still see results.
In the past, I would jump from program to program looking for the right one. Yet, at the very end, after putting a pause to the gym. I just ended up gaining all my weight back again. Those programs also included strict diets, sometimes even having a '5 small meals a day' which ended up starving me. Those programs have done nothing but help me find ways to cheat or I would rather say... "binge" eat.
Thank god I found a new way of eating that gave me the energy I needed, and basically allowed me to eat almost anything I wanted that included icecream, chocolate, french fries.. you name it. Surprisingly, eating those major cravings at night did no effect to my fat loss.
Thankfully, I found intmerttitent fasting. Something easy that I can actually follow.
