    Has anybody tried green tea?

Don't fall for the woo. Calorie deficit is all you need.

Sometimes it's just difficult to describe why people would not react to you the same way they would react to a thin person.. But that is the bitter truth.. Whether we like it or not

Somebody who reacts poorly to his/her DIL based on weight is somebody who you need to care less about impressing. Lose weight and get healthy for yourself, not for somebody you see rarely enough to have never met despite marrying his/her child.

Totally agree. If your husband loves you for you, why should you care what his parents think of your weight? Do they have fetishes for thin people or something? If you are happy, that is all that matters. If you want to lose weight for you, do it the right way. Slow and steady to learn healthy eating habits is the way to go. Losing weight quickly, and putting it back on, is not healthy.
