porridge/oatmeal diet

so I have 2 weeks to slim down into a bridesmaid's dress! looking to lose a few pounds and thought I'd give a porridge diet a try.

going to have porridge for 2 meals a day as well as one healthy main meal; similar to the special k diet.
I find the sachets of microwave porridge brilliant for portion control so will be having one sachet for every meal (around 200 cals)

I was wondering if anyone else has tried a similar diet to this? and what their results were?

    Hmmm.... so 400 calories of oatmeal and then what for dinner? So extremely under-eating for 2 weeks? Sounds great. I think by day 3 I'd eat the entire refrigerator and pantry. Good luck with that.

    That sounds....ummmm....horrible. What about all of your essential fats, protein, and vitamins and minerals?

    I would recommend counting calories and eating healthy.
