My name is Bea. I'm in Texas. I'm 60 y/o starting to regain my health and staring down diabetes in the face (recently diagnosed)...eating organic and no longer putting chemicals on my hair as I am allergic to hair dye. I'm going to do this! It won't always be easy and it won't always be fun but in the end....it WILL BE WORTH IT! :smile:

    Hello Bea. I am also a silver sister. Hit the bog 60 last June
    I am from England, but at moment I live in Greece
    I have over the last couple of years piled on the pounds
    Now its time to act
    Last week I started cutting down on the carbs and got into a regular fitness routine
    I only do 10 mins a day, but doing High Intensity Interval Training is feeling good
    I have now decided to return to My fitness pal to track everything
    I have given up the so called Zero drinks and I am sticking with water and the occasional fresh orange juice

    I'm not sure what a silver sister is but I am 63 and have silver hair! LOL! Welcome to MFP! Add me as a friend if you would like to mutually support each other. I have cut my carbs way down and started losing again.
