I came across this new app 8fit. They do an exercise program along with meal planning with the pro version.... Has anybody hard of or tried it?

Yes and I wouldn't recommend it I purchased the 3 month plan for 40$ and the plan isn't even good it basically just a random shuffle they do of food it isn't tailored to what you want or what's the healthiest for you to be eating to lose weight I wouldn't purchase again

The nice thing about it is that it comes with workouts and meal plans. So you can use it with MFP to get new ideas for recipes.

It comes with a shopping list too, which is convenient when doing your weekly groceries!

I go through spurts of using it. I bought the pro version and find that it's pretty good. I like that I can create my own meal plans for the week with the added grocery list for convenience is a major perk. They do modify the ingredients of the meals based on what other meals are chosen. Seems pretty good to use in combination with mfp.

I find the calorie count at the end of the workouts suspiciously high. What do you think?

Yea. I agree with that. I like to use it for meal planning and then have a Fitbit with heart rate monitoring that I feel gives me more accurate calories burnt. Which does turn out to be lower than what they project for sure. So having said that, I then also find the recommended calorie intake to also be bit high as I do not burn the amount of calories the project. Sooo... I make adjustments. Just another tool to add for assistance.
