Activity Level?

I originally set my activity level to light activity but I'm not sure if this would be correct.
I have a desk job. But I average 10k steps a day and do 30 minutes a day on the elliptical usually at a jogging type pace.
Should I leave my activity level as is or bump it down?

Specific exercise is logged separate from your activity level. Do I search on activity level, a few people have posted some charts that show activity level for step counts.

I wouldn't bump it down. 10K is above sedentary.

Are you logging your exercise (30 minutes of elliptical) in MFP? Because you got your calorie deficit with zero exercise factored in. Most people eat back 50-75% of exercise calories (to account for generous estimates).0 -

Yes I'm logging it in each time. So even with my goal at 1,500 because of the exercise I would be able to consume more than 1,500 right?0 -

If your calorie goal comes from MFP, it's designed for you to eat back the calories you burn from exercise. But many people find the database estimates for calorie burn to be elevated, so they only eat back a portion of the calories burned to account for this.0
