How to make strength training fun?

It's so boring to me. I like running better but I need to tone up !

    Music helps me and having a workout buddy. Do you have a friend that will work out with you?
    Or maybe try a squat or push up challenge?

    Try moves that require 'explosive' movement, like power cleans or burpees. Or figure out the most efficient moves for your strength goals so the whole workout is shorter. Barbell training tends to beat dumbbells in that regard.

    What are you currently doing for strength training? What makes it boring, the number of reps, the weight, what? Can't really help if we don't know more details.
