Cardio exercise monitor

Hello all can any one help...?
I'm looking to buy a cardio exercise monitor... Can any one recommend one please ...? There are so meany on the market...????

    Just to be sure, you are talking about a Heart Rate monitor to use for any cardio exercise ?
    If so, really it depends on what info you are wanting to track.
    I use polar, simple polar for Heartrate only, wearing the chest strap and tracking only when doing cardio.
    Garmin is awesome for running because of the GPS but can get complicated quickly.

    What is your goal ?
