want to order again.

The box arrived in pretty bad shape. Alright, horrible shape, really. Something leaked int he bottom of the box and the cilantro looked half wilted and smelled fishy. I did get shrimp as part of my order but the shrimp looks sealed tight. Although I am now concerned about the shrimp, too. The Hf cs rep said something about if the shrimp was sealed tight, it 'should be fine'. There were 4 ice packs all lumped together in one heap, and usually the ice packs are evenly distributed throughout the box. Half of the ice packs were over half melted and the other 2 were beginning to melt rapidly (and the ice packs usually arrive still pretty much frozen solid).

I just feel like this was a terrible packing job and not happy that I have to go out and buy cilantro now. Kind of defeats the purpose of this whole thing.

After reading this, I Googled Hello Fresh. They are very expensive and it is very vague as to what is in the boxes. I don't know why people would use this.

Blue Apron is expensive as well. I don't understand the concept of BA, HF and such. Couldn't you buy the ingredients much cheaper and find a good recipe on foodnetwork.com

There was a discussion a short time ago about these:

    http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10293443/everyone-should-try-one-of-these/p1

The upshot was that those who liked them appreciated the convenience, the opportunity to learn about cooking, and the variety. The critics pointed out that they are expensive and wasteful. Pick your poison.

I'd tell them that you're not interested in ordering again, and insist on a refund. They will try and push for a credit, but if the box was not in the condition you could reasonably expect, they're obliged to refund.

If you have the money, these services give you a quick and easy way to learn to cook different items. If you are picky about ingredients and your food - you are going to get stuff you don't like. It sounds like you've had a history with them and this is a one-off bad packing job. Take the credit and get your next box. If you are still unhappy - cancel!
